By creating an account or using Commander Index ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Commander Index is a free, community-driven tool for Magic: The Gathering Commander playgroups. It provides deck scoring, game night planning, match tracking, community features, and related functionality. The Service is provided "as is" with no guarantees of uptime, availability, or data preservation.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account or create multiple accounts. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You retain ownership of content you create on the Service (deck lists, posts, comments, profiles). By posting content, you grant Commander Index a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it within the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is abusive, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory
• Contains hate speech, slurs, or personal attacks
• Is spam, advertising, or commercially motivated
• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents your identity

You agree to use the Service in good faith and in accordance with the Site Policy. This includes honest deck scoring, respectful interaction, and fair use of the challenge system. Abuse of any feature — including intentional mis-scoring, spam challenges, or harassment — may result in account restrictions or termination.

The Service uses automated content filters and community reporting to maintain a healthy environment. Administrators may review flagged content, remove violations, and temporarily or permanently restrict accounts at their discretion. Decisions on moderation actions are final.

Your email address is used for authentication only. Profile information you choose to share (username, avatar, bio, favorite colors, favorite cards) is visible to other signed-in users. Match results and deck registrations are visible to the community by default. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Data is stored using Supabase infrastructure. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You may request account deletion by contacting the site administrator.

Commander Index is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, or any Magic: The Gathering rights holder. Magic: The Gathering, Commander, and all related names, characters, and images are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Card data and images are sourced from Scryfall and used under their terms of service.

The Service is provided without warranty of any kind. In no event shall the operators of Commander Index be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of access, or interruption of service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms or the Site Policy. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page or by contacting the administrator.

We may revise these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
